It was more than 5 months after devastating Hurricane Matthew, that we were finally able to visit the affected region  in late March 2017.

Currently we have assisted the school in Cèdre (Cedar) with reconstruction

.

News from Haiti

After the last earthquake in August 2021, we are able to share a bit of good news.

In a sea of devastation and despair, we just heard from our contacts form the South West region in Haiti. The last school we rebuilt in Cedre is still standing, apparently without damages. This school has 350n students and a dozen teachers.

Unfortunately, the country is mourning 2207 deaths, 344 missing, 12268 wounded, 52923 destroyed homes and 77000 damaged homes.

Lots of work awaits.
